What educators are saying

This worksheet was pretty rigorous. Most of my students found it to be very challenging. However, it was great practice for them.
These worksheets were fully aligned with the standard and they provided excellent practice on dilations.

Description

Students will solve 15 problems involving Volume. Problems include finding volume for Cylinders, Cones, and Spheres, missing radius or height, and composite figures. When they get their answer they will look at the bottom of the box. Whatever answer they got they will find on the coloring picture. The color at the bottom of each box with the matching answer is what they will color the coordinating section on the picture.

**Please note: All problems are rounded to the nearest tenth if necessary and 3.14 is used for pi.

This resource includes:

  • Blank Worksheet with 15 problems
  • Coloring Page
  • Answer Key
  • Answer Key with detailed steps shown
  • Colored Example of end product

Options for using this resource:

Students will get to practice finding the volume of cylinders, cones, and spheres and can have a brain break with the coloring. Worksheet can be used without the coloring sheet as a quiz as well. This makes a great substitute activity!
