Waves - Reflection, Refraction, Diffraction - Presentation, 4 Lab Experiments

This zip file contains materials for a middle school science lesson on waves and the concepts of reflection, refraction and diffraction, as part of a unit on waves and energy. The unit was designed for 7th graders in NYC.

Includes:
-SMARTboard .notebook lesson presentation (14 slides) including teacher descriptions of 4 short lab experiments or demonstrations.
-PowerPoint version of same presentation, HOWEVER the file was converted from the .notebook file and the font types, sizes and colors do not transfer over. So if you use the PPT, you must adjust fonts to your liking for visual appeal. All information and images are included.
-Homework assignment


Presentations serve as lesson plans that guide the teacher through the entire lesson. Presentations include links to related YouTube videos to increase student engagement (I can help you use YouTube videos in your class, even if your network blocks such sites, just ask).
