Description
How did fascist leaders like Benito Mussolini get so many people to follow him? Answer that question by tricking your students into becoming fascists with this lesson. Turn your class into a fascist regime under the guise of a harmless sentimental team-building activity. Then dissect the term "fascism" using a primary source (Mussolini's "Doctrine of Fascism" speech). This lesson serves as a great precursor to the Rise of Dictators: Mussolini/Hitler lessons.
