Description
Engage your Kinder Scientists with these FUN video mini-Lessons, discussions and activities made specifically for Distance Learning! Unit 1: What is Science introduces kids to the wonders of science, teaches them about different kinds of scientists and the tools they use, and to the concept of writing in science.
Each video includes a simple activity that can be done with either paper and pencils/crayons or common supplies found in most households. The videos are followed up by a Google Slides Discussion, meant to deepen your students’ understanding of the topic. The unit includes 8 video mini-lessons (most 3-5 minutes long), 7 Google Slide Discussions, detailed teacher instructions and parent guides for each lesson.
These lessons are ideal for all kinds of distance learning including synchronous, asynchronous and hybrid models. Easy for both teachers and families, they are the perfect way to make sure your students are falling in love with science, even from afar.
