What educators are saying

This was so much fun! My students really enjoyed this and we had fun making root beer floats to go along with it!
A great booklet to accompany this YUMMY Science Experiment! My students LOVE this unexpected treat! Thank you!

Description

Want a fun way to teach your scientists about matter? Try this memorable science experiment with your class and make root beer floats!

You are receiving a reader to help facilitate talks & discussions about matter….specifically the forms of liquid, solid and gas!

Simply bring in some ice cream (solid) and root beer (liquid) and watch the "reaction" of the two when put together in a cup. Your students are sure to love this!

This resource is for a 10 page reader which contains key vocabulary:

solid, liquid, gas, reaction, matter

Use this reader prior to the experiment ...or use it as a follow up after you have completed it! Project the color version to read aloud. Use the backline for student to reread, color and take home to share their learning!

As a bonus, a copy of the "root beer experiment" to send home to parents! A fun way to build that home/school connection!!

If you need more matter resources check my store for posters that pair nicely with this reader!
