Description
This flipchart was created using ActivInspre and is a great winter lesson! I also have it available in POWERPOINT if you don't have an interactive whiteboard. Just go to my store.
Students will learn about Wilson Bentley who was the first to photograph a snowflake. There is a predication guide in microsoft word to download to assess students' prior knowledge on snowflakes and a fill in the blank document in microsoft word also to give your students to do as you go through the flipchart. There is an assessment via activote at the end.
Short video clips and online websites for games relating to the book, Snowflake Bentley, are also embedded. There is also a link to a website to view his amazing snowflake pictures online!!
Language skills are also included such as:
making predications
compare/contrast
making words: snowflake
vocabulary
compound words
comprehension
