Description

This Lesson gives students tips on staying healthy in the winter including eating healthy, exercising, getting enough sleep, dressing for cold weather, and washing your hands often . It includes an assessment, writing prompt, art activities, additional activities. no prep needed, printables, clip art. Easel assessment is available with this lesson plan.

CDC HEALTH STANDARD SEVEN: Students will demonstrate the ability to practice health enhancing behaviors and to avoid or reduce health risks

Included in the lesson:

Explanation of what an immune system is and why we need to keep it strong to stay healthy

Explaining the five factors for staying healthy in the winter

Wash up

Change your toothbrush
