This Wonder Novel Study Unit package contains a comprehensive novel study on Wonder by R.J. Palacio. This package contains over 100 pages of Wonder activities and projects, including Wonder questions, graphic organizers, vocabulary activities, and worksheets. This literature guide requires very little teacher prep – simply print and teach!

A comprehensive and in-depth novel study for an incredible book. A favorite with both students and teachers, this novel makes for an excellent read aloud, but is also an engaging independent read that encourages reflection.

This package includes the following:

Cover Page - this makes a great title page for an Interactive Notebook or novel study package. Two different versions to choose from are included.

Pre-Reading Activity- An engaging pre-reading activity for students to complete before diving into the novel is included.

⭐Comprehension Questions: Multiple pages of detailed comprehension questions are included, divided into the eight parts of the novel. A full answer key for all questions is also included.

⭐Reading Strategy Questions: A full set of Reading Strategy Questions to go along with each of the eight parts of the novel are included. These questions ask students to look deeply at the text, and infer, connect, evaluate, question, comprehend, and summarize.

⭐Character Analysis Activities: Graphic organizers to closely examine the character of Augie are included.

Vocabulary List - A full list of vocabulary words to go along with the novel are included.


Vocabulary Activities - Two different vocabulary activities are included to use along with the vocabulary word lists. Choose the one that work best for your learners.

⭐Reading Response Activities: A variety of creative reading response activities are included - foldable activities, creative worksheets, and graphic organizers. These pages have been specifically created to engage upper elementary and middle school students. These activities make gorgeous additions to Interactive Notebooks!

Activities that do not lend themselves to online learning, such as foldable activities and graphic organizers with artistic elements, have been removed from the online activity.
