The tests are easy to correct and provide an accurate tool to check students’ understanding of the material.

The word modified only appears on the teacher’s answer keys. All modified questions are in the sequencing, character identification, and quote portion of the tests and are on separate pages.

In keeping with the Common Core Standards, page numbers are provided for most questions for teachers who choose to encourage their students to use the text to find the answers. The page and paragraph numbers are also a useful tool for test review.
