TEACHING EXPERIENCE

As a Special Education teacher with 20 years of classroom and leadership experience teaching students with autism, I learn something new every single day from my kids and am proud to have been able to help them reach their learning potential. Certifications include: * Pre-K -3rd General Education * Special Educattion K-12 * ASD Endorsement *ESOL (ELL) Endorsement

MY TEACHING STYLE

Being a Special Education teacher, many of the activities that I create must meet the students needs, as well as our Math and Reading curriculum aligning to Common Core Standards. I feel that it is so important to create activities that help my students learn, as well as master their IEP goals. I am known for waking up at 2:00 A.M. and working on activities for my kids! It's so very rewarding to watch their darling little faces light up with enthusiasm. I may not get enough sleep, but my kiddos reactions are priceless. :)
