TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I've been teaching middle school math and photography for over 25 years. I am part of a family of teachers - both my parents, my husband, brothers, and sister-in-laws all teach middle or high school. My high school products are created with the help of my "team" who have decades of high school math and economics teaching experience.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I believe students need to be exposed to a topic in a variety of ways. I especially love activities that have bright colors, are fun to display around the room, cooperative, and most of all - self-checking. Kids are more likely to try a problem again if there are answers to choose from. Immediate feedback is so important. After buying amazing products on TpT for years, I decided to start offering my own creations and my shop took off.

ADDITIONAL BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION

Born and raised in sunny Southern California, I graduated from UCLA with a degree in mathematics and stuck around to earn my Master's in Secondary Education. I live outside of Los Angeles with my husband, three teenagers, and lots of pets. I've been teaching at the junior high level since 1995 and still love going to work each day!
