Duck for President Literature Review Questions and Activities
This is a literature review packet I created for the book: "Duck for President" by Doreen Cronin. Very appropriate for an election year! I have included the common core standards that are addressed in this review at the beginning. There is a vocabulary section, a comprehension section, a sequencing section, and an application section. The questions I have included encourage higher order thinking and application. A key is also included.

Time to vote! Time to read.. about what voting is! Included with this emergent reader are vocabulary words with picture cards and high frequency word cards that go with the words in the booklet. Introduce the election process to young children!Based on Duck For President by Doreen Cronin, this One-and-Done project is a quick and easy way to teach about the presidential election. Read the book one day, do one project, and you're done! This set includes the directions for making the duck or themselves as the candidate along with 6 different recording sheets.
