In this 90 minute project, students use their knowledge of polynomial graphs to design and analyze their own roller coaster.
Students create the polynomial coaster in factored form, describe end behavior, set a realistic domain and range, and use demos to check their work.
In part two, student multiply out their polynomial, and then use synthetic division to check their multiplication by verifying the roots.
