The Sandwich Swap Theme Read Aloud

Literacy Fanatic
This is a teacher made Smart Notebook lesson based on the popular read aloud, The Sandwich Swap. In this notebook lesson, there is a Thinking Map that refers to text evidence to prove themes that are present in the book. It also includes a strategy so that students may monitor their own learning and track a text's theme. I like to use it in the first few days of school to teach acceptance and tolerance as a classroom rule. Hope it is useful!
