Math Quick Starts (Spring Theme)
These short math puzzles review basic skills while building math fluency and are aligned with CCSS. I use these to start my math classes, but could also be used for early finishers. The pictures help to take the fangs out of math and can help students become more comfortable with problems involving variables. The puzzles cover algebra, ratios, integers, rational numbers, exponents and critical thinking.

Algebra on Rectangles - single variable - $500 classroom challenge
These puzzles are great additions to any classroom learning algebra. Students are given the sizes of some squares and have to figure out the sizes of all the other little squares. They use that to find the value for x. The results are physically beautiful.
The easiest puzzles here are very easy - suitable for students seeing algebra for the very first time.
