To promote English language proficiency and higher order thinking, I created a short daily activity in which students name 2 items and collaborate with partner to discuss how the objects are the same or are different. The file is for the SMARTBoard and requires Notebook software to be used. I use the activity in a think-pair-share structure. The kids are interested and blow me away with their thinking sometimes!
