    Description

This product contains 149 worksheets for the 7th and 8th grades, at a discounted price of 25% off the listed prices! Each grade has all 7 units included. Each worksheet contains practice problems and three QR codes. All of the QR codes in this document can either be scanned with a device or clicked on. I also included an answer key for each worksheet. The student starts by scanning the top QR code which takes them to a Khan Academy video. The student watches the video and takes notes in the first box. The student then completes practice problems on the page which are similar to the ones Khan explained in the video. At the bottom of the page, there is a QR code that the student can use to check the answers to the questions they just attempted. On the backside, there are additional questions for practice. Once completed the student can scan the QR code at the bottom of the page. This takes students back to Khan Academy to practice similar problems online.ย  These questions give the students instant feedback and/or assistance and hints.

Some possible uses for this product:

1.) Daily Homework - The teacher can assign these worksheets as nightly homework. Students can then watch the Khan video to better understand the concepts being covered in class. It gives them the ability to check their answers to make sure they are understanding the material as they work through the questions. Lastly, it provides them with the opportunity to practice similar problems with instant feedback on the Khan Academy website.ย ย

2.) Lesson In Class - The entire class can watch the video and take guided notes. The students can then attempt the remaining questions.ย

3.) Self Paced Learning - With self-paced learning, students can take the time they need and set their own schedule. This would be especially useful for the student either far ahead or behind the other students in the class.ย

4.) Flipped Classroom - A flipped classroom consists of students completing direct instruction, such as viewing a lecture online, prior to the in-class discussion of the material. The intent is for students to see the material beforehand, also known as first-exposure learning, so they can learn the concepts at their own pace. They would then come into class and practice these skills.ย

5.) Student Absenceย  - Students who are absent could use this product to help with the missed in-class instruction. Especially ones absent for extended periods of time.ย  Also would be perfect for in-school suspension work since the student would be missing the class instruction that day.ย ย

6.) Teacher Absence - Teachers could use this product to help with instruction while they are out. Especially if the sub is unfamiliar with the content.ย  I also think it would be perfect for teachers out on extended leave to ensure proper instruction of the content.ย

7.) Parent Assistance - Teachers could send this product to parents who request help with the content.ย  Many parents want to help their students but are unable because of content confusion.ย

8.) Classroom Stations - Teachers could use this product while running stations. I imagine a group of students watching a video together and then attempting to complete the questions.ย

9.) Silent classwork - Teachers could give this as individual, silent work during class if each student had a pair of headphones.ย

10.) Home Instruction - I think this product would be perfect for students on home instruction.

Solve problems involving scale drawings of geometric figures, including computing actual lengths and areas from a scale drawing and reproducing a scale drawing at a different scale.
Draw (freehand, with ruler and protractor, and with technology) geometric shapes with given conditions. Focus on constructing triangles from three measures of angles or sides, noticing when the conditions determine a unique triangle, more than one triangle, or no triangle.
Describe the two-dimensional figures that result from slicing three-dimensional figures, as in plane sections of right rectangular prisms and right rectangular pyramids.
Know the formulas for the area and circumference of a circle and use them to solve problems; give an informal derivation of the relationship between the circumference and area of a circle.
Use facts about supplementary, complementary, vertical, and adjacent angles in a multi-step problem to write and solve simple equations for an unknown angle in a figure.
