Your students will love this alliteration PowerPoint game; it's bright, engaging, self-correcting, and it promotes active learning. This activity is perfect for kindergarten, 1st grade, 2nd grade, or ESL students. Use it as a whole class phonological awareness activity (add whiteboards for whole class participation), or for independent practice during literacy centers. This is a fun and easy way to practice alliteration.

This pack contains two versions:
- Version one has words and pictures (perfect to start with).
- Version two only has pictures.
Each PowerPoint contains 30 game slides. Please open the files in slide show mode for the animation and sound effects to work.
Directions:
Alliteration game: I went on vacation, what did I see?
Click on the picture that starts with the same sound as the two
pictures in the white rectangle.
If you’re correct, you’ll hear a magic chime sound and see stars
appear around your answer.
If your answer’s incorrect, you’ll hear a buzzing sound. Your
answer will disappear and you’ll get another chance to try again.
Please note:
- PPT files are not editable due to the graphics that were used.
- The preview is not animated; the game is an interactive PowerPoint (.pptx file) with animation and sound.
