    Description

Make potty training and restroom use a breeze with picture guides and signs for potty training! This packet includes printable posters for the steps required to use the toilet, steps required for washing hands, social narratives for students with bathroom concerns, a sign to remind students to pull up their pants in the bathroom and, my favorite, a guide that an adult can tape on the wall to show the students how much toilet paper or paper toilet should be used.

The printable signs for proper hand washing and toilet use can also be used for sequencing activities for individual student work. Young children and students with special needs greatly benefit from picture guides for proper bathroom use.

These visuals include the sequence and steps necessary for changing in the restroom. I also like to use these activities for independent sequencing work for life skills. All of these items are very effective for ALL students under the age of 8 and those who respond well to visuals, including students with autism.
