What educators are saying

These have a lot of great options. My students don't do great with the brain break videos but these offer them some time for movement while staying in control.
Great resource for a quick and silly brain break. Love picking a student to choose a card and act out when we need a break.

This resource comes with 36 movement cards that you can either make into sticks or use on a binder ring.

All of the brain breaks included in this resource are verbs, because what better way for students to remember that verbs are action words than by doing fun movements to them!

You can use these brain breaks anytime and multiple times throughout the school day!

Some of my favorite times to use brain breaks are:

  • for transitions
  • when students are wiggling and need to focus
  • when students are dragging and need a pick me up
  • before and after tests

Using brain breaks in throughout the school day allows students to intentionally move so that they can get their wiggles out, become energized when they’re getting tired, and help them maintain focus. Taking a minute or two to do a brain break can give you many more minutes of concentrated learning afterwards. This allows you to maximize instructional time and ultimately help students be more successful!

This resource includes:

  • 36 brain breaks (in color and black/white)
  • Instructions on how and when to use the brain breaks
  • Organization Option #1: Brain Break Sticks--includes container label (3 size options) along with the brain break cards that are folded and glued onto larger craft sticks
  • Organization Option #2: Brain Break Cards--includes brain break cards and a front label that can be put onto a binder ring

*See PREVIEW for a list of the brain breaks included and to grab a sample of some of the brain breaks!

Save big by grabbing it in the Classroom Management Bundle!
