Career Planning Quizzes: Personality, Emotional Intelligence, Values
What educators are saying
Description
Career Planning Quizzes will help students explore their work potential and gather personal insights for their own career planning strategies.
The Personality Quiz asks students read questions and answer Yes or No. There are no right or wrong answers, but students are instructed to answer each question honestly, and take as much time as they need. If some questions are hard to answer, they may discuss them with a partner. A chart for scoring helps to indicate a student's strongest personality type and allows students to connect their personality type to possible jobs and careers.
Finding Your Emotional Intelligence Quotient instructs students to select choices to situations that would most resemble how they would respond in each. Each answer is then scored and points totaled for an EQ.
Work Values Inventory asks students to carefully consider work value and circle the number that indicates whether it is Very Important, Somewhat Important, or Not Important. Those values selected as Very Important give direction as to what students may value the greatest in work opportunities.
