Description

Do you need a quick activity to practice and assess characterization for a novel or story? Do you have a nonfiction or informational piece and want to make sure students "get" the people involved and are retaining important information? Do you need a project for Women's History Month, or a research driven assignment for any subject - like scientists in science or history makers in social studies?

This PDF resource encourages students to reflect and "DUMP" all of their thoughts about a character, historical figure, or any person being studied! The template allows the students to draw the features of a chosen or assigned figure or character, and on the backside, reflect and write what they have learned and retained. Students practice recalling information and writing purposely while having FUN at the same time!

The entire assignment is available in the preview, so check it out!
