What educators are saying

I used the fall one with my students, but I used the winter as a sub plan and it was very easy to use and they turn out pretty cool! It's definitely helpful for kids getting to practice plotting points, and I've enjoyed it so far!
My students LOVED this resource for practicing graphing points and incorporating some of their opinions. It is a nice way to spiral this topic throughout the year based on the seasoned-themed resource. Thank you!!!

    Description

Need an engaging math activity that lets students practice plotting ordered pairs?
Students love coordinate graph pictures, and they especially enjoy these because a personality test is included.

This pack includes 5 personality test graphing activities. Here is how they work:

    • First students mark if they agree or disagree with statements about their interests and likes.
    • Then they connect points using different colors based on how they responded.
    • Once complete, a picture appears with different colors according to each student's personality.

    In this pack:

    • Fall Personality Test
    • Winter Personality Test
    • Spring Personality Test
    • Summer Personality Test
    • Valentine: Heart of a Mathematician Personality Test

The finished graphs make great classroom decoration for different seasons throughout the year! These work great for extra practice, sub plans, or early finishers after a test.

Two versions are included for each resource: all 4 quadrants and 1st quadrant only.

These are a great way to get to know your students' interests, and students love doing these!

Use a pair of perpendicular number lines, called axes, to define a coordinate system, with the intersection of the lines (the origin) arranged to coincide with the 0 on each line and a given point in the plane located by using an ordered pair of numbers, called its coordinates. Understand that the first number indicates how far to travel from the origin in the direction of one axis, and the second number indicates how far to travel in the direction of the second axis, with the convention that the names of the two axes and the coordinates correspond (e.g., 𝘹-axis and 𝘹-coordinate, 𝘺-axis and 𝘺-coordinate).
Understand a rational number as a point on the number line. Extend number line diagrams and coordinate axes familiar from previous grades to represent points on the line and in the plane with negative number coordinates.
Find and position integers and other rational numbers on a horizontal or vertical number line diagram; find and position pairs of integers and other rational numbers on a coordinate plane.
