I was trying to do something different with my Spanish students. They tapped into their creative side by cutting and coloring, while also being challenged to write poems about the Day of the Dead. Really enjoyed it.
Description
Your students will create a poem about the Day of the Dead using their five senses. Depending on the ability of your students, this project can be completed in Spanish or English. They will also have the opportunity to color a unique calavera, which can be displayed in many exciting ways.
This activity is a perfect supplement to your Día de los Muertos unit!
