Description
My Best-Selling Posters are now EDITABLE!!! Each of the original posters offers a matching blank template for you to customize to suit your needs.
I use "1, 2, 3, Magic" in my classroom and therefore have a "Take 5" break location set up at all times (you can read more about this program HERE). I originally began this program upon the recommendation of our board's behavioural psychologist for a sweet little peanut in my class diagnosed with ADHD and Autism, but I loved the simplicity of the program so much that I now use it for my whole bunch of firsties. These posters are an integral part of this process for me. My special needs students especially thrive on visuals and these posters do just the trick.
I kept the posters incredibly simple for a reason; our "Take 5" space is incredibly simple! It is free of distractions and other tools that might be useful in other situations (such as stress balls, sensory bottles, stuffed animals, etc.). It is simply meant as a space to take a break and calm down so that the child is better able to make better choices upon his/her return.
I also have a mirror set up in the space which compliments the posters nicely.
