Earth Day Power Point & Activities Pack

Included in this download is a PDF file of:

  • Brainstorm pages - This is to help your students work through their ideas for any of the 4 writing prompts provided. I find that using a brainstorm activity like this first helps students come up with much better and unique ideas! Brainstorm maps with and without prompts are included.
  • Practice sentence pages - From the brainstorm I move to the practice sentences worksheet. This helps them go from one or two words to forming complete sentences with correct spelling and punctuation.
  • 4 Different Writing Prompts in PORTRAIT OR LANDSCAPE - Final Draft Writing Pages (both landscape and portrait page options) - includes the following prompts:
    "I Can Help The Earth"
    "Earth Day"
    "Reduce, Reuse, Recycle"
    "My Promise To The Earth"
  • Once their practice sentences look good they can transfer those sentences onto their final draft paper. I've included regular and primary lined paper to match your students' needs.
  • Craft Toppers - Students get to choose which of the 4 toppers they would like to color and then cut out!
