Fractions Task Cards

These fraction task cards provide extra skill and practice centered all around learning and understanding fraction concepts. This resource includes 197 unique task cards, split into 8 separate fraction skills:
- Basic Fractions
- Reducing Fractions
- Comparing & Ordering Fractions
- Adding & Subtracting Fractions
- Multiplying Fractions
- Dividing Fractions
- Converting Mixed Numbers & Improper Fractions
- Fraction Word Problems

Two versions are included: A color version and a black & white version, so that you can choose which print option is best for you.

Many Ways to Use Task Cards
A "How to Use Task Cards" sheet is included, giving several ways for you to use task cards in your classroom. Some simple strategies include using a set of task cards as a "do now" when students enter the room, having students work at math centers around the room, or partnering students to play partner games and answer questions as they play!

A student response sheet is also included to students can respond as they go.

Answer Keys Provided
Answer keys for every set of task cards are provided. Student-friendly answer keys can even be posted at a certain spot around the room so students can check their work as they go! This will make less prep for you and create completely student-centered activities.

Math task cards can be especially helpful for students requiring special education supports and math intervention supports. They can be a great way to support struggling learners in your classroom. Additionally, especially challenging cards are marked with 3 stars, allowing you to give those cards to a student who needs an extra challenge.
