Geometry and Angles Unit - Grade 4 Math Notebook - Alberta Aligned - NEW PofS

Grade 4 Math Strategies Notebook for your units Geometry AND Angles - all in one convenient student notebook!

This interactive Geometry AND Angles Notebook will serve as a practical, engaging resource that students will use and reference throughout the entire year. It covers ALL 12 of your BRAND NEW Geometry and Angles (Skills and Procedures) outcomes in grade 4 Alberta.

I've combined both units into one handy notebook to help save you time teaching, and give you more time to reinforce these concepts in the classroom.

In this resource you will find:

• A cover page for your Interactive Math notebook,
• A 'Geometry and Angles' title page for this section of your Math notebook,
• An ”I Can statement” for each outcome (aligned with the NEW Grade 4 Alberta Program of Studies) to glue at the top of your notebook page,
• Clipart to create each page/anchor chart, and
• Example photos of each page of the notebook put together.

MINIMAL PREP REQUIRED! - Just print, cut, and handout!

Each student will need:

• A notebook (either a composition book, a visual journal, or a lined notebook)
• Crayons/markers/coloured pencils
• Glue stick and scissors

You will find that there are multiple copies of each image to reduce photocopying.

I have found that at the end of the school year, students are proud to show their notebooks to their parents, and parents are interested in seeing all the learning that has occurred in each of the Mathematics units, especially with the outcomes listed directly on the page.

Use this resource as a great foundational lesson for each of the skills and procedures your students will need to showcase.
