What educators are saying

This resources was very good and they loved it. I will be using this with all of the students I work with.
My students loved matching up the feelings with the faces and sentences! We did whole group for Kindergarten. For second grade, I made a few copies of the whole set and students put them together in groups. They had fun!

Description

These Halloween candy corn feelings matching puzzles are perfect for emotion identification in early elementary school! Contains 9 emotion puzzles in color and black and white, as well as blank candy corn puzzle templates for students to create their own puzzles! These are great for individual counseling, small group counseling, or centers in whole group classroom guidance lessons.

Suggested use: Print and cut individual sections of each puzzle. Give student or small group of students 2-3 puzzles at one time. Students read the statements on the bottom section of candy corn and make inferences about how the speaker is feeling. Students then find the matching emotion middle section piece and identify the Frankenstein facial expression that most closely matches the feeling word.
