What educators are saying

This literacy product is a game-changer in the classroom! It's engaging, interactive, and fosters a love for reading and language among students. It's been a joy to see my students' skills and confidence soar with this tool. Highly recommend for educators looking to inspire young minds!
My students love watching these. I've used different TedTalks with different age groups, but the favorite always seems to be the procrastinator! Because of that, it is always my first one, so the next time I use one, they are excited to get started.

Description

*Update! Now there are six!*

I have also updated this resource to be available in Google Apps to be used digitally. Print or go digital - whichever works best for your class! This also means it is completely editable.

I've done a lot of Ted Talks with my students, but these six are the ones that have always been crowd-pleasers. They are funny but still insightful and relevant to the students.

Includes QR codes and guide questions for the following talks:

"What I learned from 100 days of rejection"

"Don't eat the marshmallow!"

*Update! This includes a link to a follow-up article which questions the validity of the test. Guide questions included as PDF and GoogleApps.

"The shared experience of absurdity"

"Inside the mind of a master procrastinator"

"The art of misdirection"

"A pro wrestler's guide to confidence"

Each varies in time from 5 minutes to close to 20, so these are perfect to have in case you have a little bit of time to fill or an unexpected entire period. I like to use these in between units, on days where I am missing half of my class, right before holiday breaks...there are many occasions where you need to keep students engaged but can't use curriculum materials for various reasons.

The worksheets have QR codes and tiny urls on them, so students can easily access them on their own. The answers are provided and each worksheet includes an extension beyond just comprehension.

I hope your students love them as much as my students do!
