Human Karyotype Chromosome Clip Art: Diagrams for Posters, Quizzes, Task Cards

Wish you could find karyotype images that are true to spectral colors used by real scientists, have accurate banding patterns on the chromosomes, and are available in all common types of human aneuploidy?

This karyotype clip art package contains color and black and white(grayscale) images, all 300 dpi .png files for the following:

These images feature “furry” chromosomes, to demonstrate that chromosomes don’t really have nice smooth lines but are actually made of folded DNA molecules. They also have the correct banding patterns (as close you can get to correct banding patterns with clip art) and the standard colors used by scientists analyzing spectral karyotypes.

These are sized so they fit nicely on an 8.5x11 inch PowerPoint slide or landscape Word document. You could print them in color as is, laminate them, and use them for years.

You can also resize them to go nicely with any quiz or test question. I know as a teacher I struggled to find high quality karyotype images to put on a quiz and it is frustrating for students to try to analyze a blurry image. With these images, you will never have this problem again! The black and white (grayscale) images print well with the laser printer I use and copy well on my school copy machine.
