Description
This reading on the Indus River Valley Civilization discusses the river and the cities of Harappa and Mohenjo-Daro. It then goes over their achievements and explains how advanced they were. It then talks about their writing not being deciphered and the many aspects of their society which still remain a mystery, like their religion, political structure, and why the civilization collapsed. There are three questions at the end with a vocabulary section and an answer key is included.
There is then a four station reading activity that also discusses the Harappan or Indus River Valley Civilization.
