Description

Letter and Sound Teaching Resource

The purpose of this product is to have a tool that will enable children to acquire two key principles in literacy learning:

1) You can hear the sounds at the beginning (middle and end) of words.

2) You can match letters and sounds at the beginning of a word (middle of/ end of a word).

Using the charts in this product will help children learn the alphabetic principle—that letters and sounds have systematic relationships.

There are many ways to develop letter, letter/sound and print knowledge. Using letter/sound linking charts is one way to develop this knowledge.
