Life Skill of the Week for Elementary Students: 42 Life Skills Posters
- PDF
What educators are saying
Description
Life skills are SO important in elementary school! We are always surprised by what our students come to school knowing (or not knowing), and many of these pieces of information are important to the health and safety of our youngest students.
Try using a life skill of the week. Introduce it during a morning meeting on Monday and practice it all week. You have 42 life skills that students can practice throughout the school year!
So, how do you use this resource?
In our elementary classroom, I print our life skills posters on card stock. You can definitely laminate for extra durability. I hang the header of my choice above, on the wall, and I hole punch the pack of life skills posters I plan on using for the year. I put those life skills posters on binder rings and then hang them from command hooks on the wall. I just flip the posters each week.
What materials should I have on hand?
Paper! You can print on card stock and laminate for durability, if you would like. I also like to hole punch the life skills posters and hang them from command hooks so all I need to do is flip the life skills poster each week.
