To ensure a students understand what they have read, I've also included a mini comprehension assessment with an answer key. This allows you to easily monitor your students' progress. 

In addition, you will receive three writing prompts: opinion, informational, and narrative. Each prompt is based on the information presented in the passage. This will allow your students to express their thoughts creatively and informatively.
