What educators are saying

This resource was so helpful as a review for the characters. Students were able to track who each character was, their association with others and the character actions.
YES and YES and YES! This is a perfect resource. I'm amazed what students don't connect, especially characters, and this is just fun to do. Give it to them and time them on how many their small group can complete correctly. Always have complete student buy-in!

Description

After you’ve finished reading Act 2 of William Shakespeare’s Macbeth, help your students recall 14 different characters and understand the complicated relationships in this famous tragedy. By filling in the flow chart either in teams of two or as a solo activity, students will be forced to dig back into the text as they build a visual reminder of the drama unfolding in Shakespeare’s play. This also works well as an open-book quiz.

This 2-page PDF includes the student handout and answer key. A Google Drive version of the handout is also included.
