Description
Use this resource to teach about civil rights and spreading peace. This resource asks the students to consider how they can be peacemakers and spread peace around the world. Simply print the black and white printable or use the other components of this resource to create your own unique peace craft. I use this every year on MLK Day to celebrate his peaceful stance on changing the world! It can also be used on World Kindness Day or incorporated to many other social studies or writing lessons!
This resource includes:
- 6 printable black and white versions of this craftivity with different headings and sentence starters. Headings include: "Peace begins with me!" and "I can be a peacemaker!" Sentence starters include: I can, I will, or (plain blank handwriting lines).
- Components to make the craft on your own colored card stock. Components include: peace signs (2 per page), "Peace begins with me!" and "I can be a peacemaker!" heading pages, and I can, I will, or plain blank handwriting lines writing paper.
