What educators are saying
Easy for students to follow as they work on creating a Newscast on their books. Love using then as an alternative to a written book report.
This resource was a great way to scaffold teaching narrative writing with detail, and was a fun and unique way to help the student ensure that they used each element of who/what/where/when/why/how.
Description
A simple graphic organizer for students to use when reading a newspaper for the 5 Ws and How. Once students have completed the graphic organizer they can write a summary paragraph using the information they have gathered. Rubric included!!!!
It is also a great tool for students when brainstorming ideas for a creative writing news report.
