Over the Ocean, Under the Sea (Piano Accompaniment Track)

This is the piano accompaniment track for OVER THE OCEAN, UNDER THE SEA, which was written to celebrate God’s creation. The track includes the piano accompaniment and vocal lines exactly as written in the book by the same name, available on this site.

The music appeals to the imagination of the elementary child who loves going to the beach, looking for seashells, watching playful dolphins jump in and out of the waves, and dreaming that a mermaid will actually appear! This book includes songs about going to the beach, wearing flip flops, seashells, seals, mermaids, mighty sailing ships and a pop-eyed pirate!

As a part of the Instant Concert Series, the songs are easy to teach and easy to learn, and most can be learned during one class period. A quick Spring concert can be planned by using any of these songs. Percussion instruments, Wood blocks, two-tone blocks, triangles, slide whistles, and body movements were added to help bring the ocean to life! Most of the work has been done to make the teacher’s job a little easier. I sincerely hope you – the teacher – enjoy teaching these songs and my wish is that the children to have fun singing about the sea!
