Reader’s Theater Pack: Perimeter and Area

This reader’s theater pack contains two scripts about perimeter and area. The short, 2 page scripts are engaging for your whole class! They have around 5 individual speaking parts and many ALL parts for you whole class (or small group) to participate in.

Great way to integrate reading fluency with important measurement standards.

And they won't even realize how hard they are working with the humorous nature of the scripts!

The two scripts and their topics are as follows:

-“Sunday Night Football: The Pittsburgh Perimeter vs. The Atlanta Area”-defines area and perimeter as well as compares the two

-“The Case of the Missing Measurements”-reviews the definition of area and perimeter and explains the formulas for finding perimeter and the area of a square, rectangle and right triangle
