    Description

This bundle includes 6 Roald Dahl book studies. The six classic books included are:

    Charlie and the Chocolate Factory

    The Witches

    James and the Giant Peach

    Matilda

    Fantastic Mr. Fox

    The BFG

These book study activities will make these amazing books even easier! Each book study is a packet filled with reading and writing activities and includes comprehension questions. Students respond to each of the comprehension questions in their own packet that culminate into a booklet. These book studies are an ideal addition to any 3rd-5th grade book study. I have personally used them to run different book clubs in my classroom and keep all groups on task. This gives students independence during book clubs and whole class studies. It will also allow students to compare books using one author.

These comprehension activities focus on analyzing the main characters, comparing the characters’ traits, plot elements, deeper discussion, and questioning of the story elements. If you are looking to extend your students' knowledge without much planning, these guides will be great for your classroom. These are the kind of books that makes students love reading! Then end each of the books with SIX fun activities to do with your students to check their comprehension!

This guide will help you to improve both your students' reading and writing skills in a variety of ways.

    Included in the Book Studies:

    Extended Writing Responses

    Chapter Comprehension Questions and Answers

    Plot Time Line

    Characters Page

    Vocabulary Pages

    Cause and Effect
