Description

Practice Rounding to the nearest ten and hundred with this math game! Get your students learning AND moving with this Digital Google Slides Resource! Research has shown that students need to be up and moving AT LEAST every 20 minutes. Movement stimulates blood flow to the brain which triggers the release of Serotonin, Dopamine, Endorphins, and Cortisol. Movement also stimulates the hippocampus which deals with working memory. #st4uce923

What does all this mean? MOVEMENT + academics = LEARNING!

How Does It Work?

  1. Project the Google Slide onto your board for a whole class game or assign to individual students for distance learning.
  2. Each problem gives students three multiple choice answers to choose from.
  3. Each answer has a corresponding movement to accompany it.
  4. Students solve the problem and then complete the movement for the answer they choose.
  5. Click onto the next slide to check the answer.
  6. Math answer choices were created keeping the most common errors students make in mind. Perfect for getting ready for state testing!
