Description

Kids will use the scientific method to learn about pendulums while exploring the concepts of variables, amplitude, bob weight and rod length. This science experiment will give your students a hands on, memorable, scientific method activity!

With this product you will be able to teach your students how to set up and conduct an investigation using the scientific method.

This resource contains two investigations.

One investigation is led by you as a guided experiment. Students gain exposure to new concepts, and practice following the scientific method as the teacher models quality questioning, writing and procedural techniques.

The second experiment releases some of the independence to the kids as they design their own investigation to learn more about variables that effect the swing time of pendulums.
