Description
This engaging activity offers a playful approach to the Shake and Spill method, encouraging students to explore various ways to make numbers to 10. Using double-sided red and yellow counters as "pepperoni" and "cheese," students creatively adorn their virtual pizzas. The process involves placing counters in a cup, shaking and spilling them onto the pizza, and then accurately counting and recording the results. To ensure longevity, it is advisable to laminate the pizza mats for repeated use, allowing students to conveniently write and wipe their answers using a dry erase marker.
