What educators are saying

My students love boom cards and this was a fun and engaging way for them to get independent practice with making 10!

Description

Students will have fun learning tens partners and solving missing addend problems within 10 with this set of digital task cards! They can be completed fully online through the BOOM Learning website or app (or with other platforms like SeeSaw, Canvas, Schoolology, Class Dojo, and more - see link below).

WHAT DOES THAT MEAN?

  • It means that the activities are self-checking!
  • It means no printing, cutting, or laminating!
  • It means your students can work on this activity independently using any internet-enabled device (desktop, laptop, tablet, phone)!
  • It means you can use it with your interactive whiteboard!
  • Best of all, it means that you can track your students' progress!

Each digital card shows a partially filled ten frame and an addition sentence with a missing addend. Student determine the number that will complete the equation (missing addend) to make a sum of ten. The ten frame provides visual support. This activity helps build number sense and the concept of tens partners.

Includes 22 cards.

Check out the preview to access a playable sample which allows you to try before buying.
