Description
This is a speaking activity entitled "20 fotos, 20 segundos." This specific activity is for a unit on the environment and can be used to accompany Chapter 9 of the Realidades 3 / Auténtico 3 book entitled "Cuidemos nuestro planeta."
This speaking activity is done in pairs, where students describe various photos to their partners in 20 seconds. The photos are all related to the chapter's theme and vocabulary.
Students love this activity, and I find that all students are engaged and participating since the photographs allow them to speak at whatever proficiency level they currently are.
Instructions for the teacher are included in the activity. I also include a variety of ideas for extension activities based on the speaking activity.
