Use this to help students develop critical summarizing skills (CCSS.ELA-LITERACY.RI.7.2) , citing text evidence skills (CCSS.ELA-LITERACY.RI.7.1) as well as the ability to justify their opinions and then relate each article to a larger idea or holiday(CCSS.ELA-LITERACY.W.7.1.B) .
