This movie pack for The Blind Side is designed for use as you show this film as a text. You can use it in its entirety or pick and choose what works for you.

Student Experience: The anticipatory set activity will immediately draw students into the themes and ideas presented in the movie. While they watch, students will answer questions on the graphic organizer. The questions ask them to consider the movie as a whole and apply their knowledge and understanding of key ELA skills/terms. A writing prompt follows. Last, you'll be able to review and extend their learning after the movie-viewing experience with a fun Thanksgiving-themed activity.
