What educators are saying

I love using this resource for our kindergarten bootcamp that takes place before school starts. We do a school tour the first day and then the next day we do the scavenger hunt.
This product is perfect for the beginning of the school year. It really helps break the ice with the kids who are nervous to be there.

Description

After reading the classic first day of school story "The Kissing Hand" by Audrey Penn, take your students on a tour of the school!

Use these clues to place throughout your school in different rooms that your students need to become familiar with throughout the school. On their school tour, students begin their fun quest to find Chester the Raccoon! During their quest, they will become familiar with the different rooms and meet other teachers and staff in the building. This will make them feel a little more comfortable in safe in this big new place! At the end of the tour, students will receive a special treat from Chester!

The clues in this pack are written in such a way that you can choose which clues you want to include and what order you want to put them in.

Clues include:

Bathroom, gym, computer lab, secretary, principal, music room, cafeteria, nurse, art room, library, custodian, social worker, classroom, treats

It also includes treat bag tags!! :)

UPDATED (8-18-19) There is now an editable slide for you to create and type out your own clues to fit your classroom needs.

Have a great year!!
