This product was created as an introductory activity for my technical theater class but could have several other uses (including sub plans for a multiple day stretch)! I had several students who had never seen a play or musical, and several more whose only experience was the plays and musicals they had worked on at their elementary or middle schools.

This activity did several things for us that I hope will happen for you too!

•It gave us a show that we have all seen and can reference in future lessons.

•It provided examples of all of the technical theater elements we would be talking about in class.

•It provided material for conversations about how spectacle or technical theater serves to enhance the story being told.
